Filters and Saved Views

Built-In Filters

The asset filters in ProCalX provide quick access to assets based on common operational and maintenance criteria.  These built-in views help users locate assets without needing to create custom searches.  You can access these by selecting the Assets header and the dropdown list will appear.

This allows users to quickly filter all of their existing Instruments, Test Standards, Loops, and Equipment.  When the filter is applied you will notice the heading of the page will change.  The below example shows the 'Loops' filter applied.

The result page also comes packaged with pre-built filters for easy accessibility of failed or incomplete calibration.

Saved Views

In addition to built in filters, you also have the ability to create custom filters by using the 'Saved Views' feature.  You can apply any specific columns, sorting, or search criteria and then save this as a view for easy accessibility.  This is available on both the Assets and Results screens.

For example, if you regularly work with assets manufactured by Fluke, you can save the search as a view, allowing you to quickly access those assets without manually applying the filter each time.

First I would open the search box and filter by the manufacturer Fluke.

After clicking search, the page would refresh and I would see all of my assets from Fluke.  From here I can click the 'Assets' header and select 'My Views'.

An option to save the view will appear and I can give it a custom name.

After clicking save, I can easily access my 'Fluke Standards' custom view under 'My Views'.  You can remove a saved view by selecting the icon next to the name.  These views are specific to your user logon and cannot be shared among users at the moment.
