The ProCalX + New button listed at the top left corner is contextual to whatever screen you are currently on. From the Dashboard page, clicking + New will show you a dropdown of the asset types you can create in the system e.g. Instrument, Test Standard, Loop, and Equipment. From the dropdown you will select the asset type you are looking to create.
From here the asset create page will load and you will have the details tab open. Next you can populate the basic details of the asset such as general information (manufacturer, model number, serial number, etc) as well as the calibration schedule and any remarks/comments about the new asset.
