Result Statuses Overview
Result statuses indicate the current stage of a calibration, maintenance, or testing activity. Understanding these statuses helps users track progress, identify items requiring action, and ensure work is completed according to organizational procedures.
These workflows can be fully customized allowing organizations to add, remove, or rename statuses to align with their business processes and quality requirements.
ProCalX comes preconfigured with five out of the box result statuses.
Pre-Configured Result Statuses
| Status Name | Description |
| Draft | The result has been created, but is still being prepared. Data entry may be incomplete, and the result is not yet ready for processing or review. Users can continue to add, modify, or remove information while the result remains in Draft status. |
| In Progress | The calibration, maintenance, or testing activity is currently being performed. Results may be partially entered and remain editable until the activity is completed. |
| Submitted | The result has been completed and submitted for review. Data entry is finished, and the result is awaiting evaluation by a reviewer or supervisor. |
| Reviewed | The result has been examined for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with organizational procedures. Any required corrections or clarifications should be addressed before the result can proceed to final approval. |
| Approved | The result has successfully completed the review process and has been officially accepted. Approved results are considered finalized and may be used for reporting, compliance records, certificates, and historical asset documentation. |
Each result status has a unique name, display order, and can be marked as a 'draft' state.
draft - If a result status is marked as a 'draft' it will not appear on the results screen list view or dashboard counts.
display order - The display order option determines the sequence in which result statuses are displayed in the dropdown. The statuses are shown in ascending order where lower numbers appear before higher numbers.
Creating Custom Result Statuses
You can also create custom result statuses in the system by opening the 'Result Statuses' list item and clicking the '+ New' button.
Once the modal window opens you can add a name, display order, and enable 'draft' state if needed.
