To Prevent or Warn a Technician when they select a Test Instrument during Calibration if that Test Instrument is not Approved

Allow - Technicians will be able to select a Test Instrument that is not Approved.

Warn - When Technicians select a Test Instrument, during Calibration, that is not Approved, they will receive a Warning:

Restrict - When this option is selected, Test Instruments that are not Approved will not be available to be selected (they will not show up in the list of available Test Instruments.
