A result is a record of work that has been done that is related to an Asset; for Starter Edition the type of result that we are recording are calibration results.

  • Adding results starts with selecting the Results option, which will open the list of previously created results or a message indicating you will need to click the Add New button to create new Results

  • Selecting the Add New button opens the New Calibration Result screen.
    • The Result Date field defaults to "Today's Date"
    • The Who Performed defaults to "Your Name" as entered in the User Profile.

  • The fields that are required are marked with a red asterisk
  • The Instrument field is a drop down of all Instruments (previously deleted Instrument will NOT appear)
    • The Instrument will consist of the Instrument ID and the Instrument Description
  • As stated above the Result Date will default to "Today's Date".
  • You can manually enter a date in the future or past or select the Calendar Widget to select a day.

  • The Who Performed field will default to you, but you can manually enter whomever.
  • The As Found Result and As Left Result fields are drop down fields with the following values:
    • Pass
    • Fail
    • Incomplete
    • Indeterminate
      • When entering an As Found Result or As Left Result of Incomplete, the Instrument Due Date will not roll forward.  If Pass, Fail or Indeterminate is used the Due Date will roll forward according to the Instrument's Frequency.
  • The Comment field is a text field that allows you to enter up to 5000 characters.

  • Test Standards Used section allows you to assign Test Standards that were used in the Calibration of the Instrument.
    • There is no limit to the amount of Test Standards you are able to assign.
    • When there is no Test Standards assigned there is a message stating that there have been none assigned, in addition to the hint that you must click the Assign button to assign a Test Standard.

  • Clicking the Assign button opens the Select Test Standards screen

  • To Apply a Test Standard you must check the box next to the Test Standard ID, followed by the Apply button.
    • Clicking the Cancel button closes the Select Test Standards screen and returns you back to the New Calibration Result screen.

  • To remove any of the assigned Test Standards, click the Remove button.
  • To finish adding the Calibration Result, click the Save Result button.
    • Clicking the Cancel button, cancels the add of Calibration and you return to the All Results page.
  • Upon selecting the Save Result button, you are directed back to the All Results page with a confirmation message that the Result was saved successfully.
